Hi, I am a male 33 years old. When I turned about 27-28 it all started with a lot of pain on the left side of my face, the pain was dull and intense and felt as if it was ripping. Since then, I have had this pain and this unusual discomfort on the side of my face only the left side it covering my eye ear and from the top of my head from pretty much all over just located on the left side only. I have had some strange things happen from that point on.. my eyes both would rapidly go from left to right without my control several times and it hasn't happened since then, but I have had memory problems where i would forget things and names of things anyone should remember and would leave open cabinet doors to the refrigerator door, i would also forget why i went to a location or what i was doing and forgotten what i was going to say and i my mind is very cloudy and foggy and has been for a long time.. like i am mentally exhausted. Maybe it's related but I'm not sure, i have noticed balancing problems and have fell because of it quite a few times even less than a week ago, it felt like i was dizzy and also weak in the legs.. and my left arm also feels weak as best as i can describe it... and I have had problems seeing as well with my left eye things would just go blurry so bad that it's impossible to see out of it.. but then it works again fine later.. I have been to several eye doctors and eye specialist they say there is nothing wrong with my eye or eyes.. and i have had a mri and i believe a cat scan but they seem to have found nothing... and went to a neurologist or really seemed to not know what was wrong and suggested i just go to a pain management clinic which i am looking for atm. I just want an opinion or maybe some sort of guess diagnosis please I have been looking for answers for years.. Could you please consider this seriously and give it some good thought and there are other things i could write here.. but i hope this is sufficient enough for now.

I have noted your symptoms and it appears to be a neurological problem, rather than eye-related.
I would love to see the detailed MRI with MR angiogram report, as we need to exclude multiple sclerosis, ischemia (lack of blood supply to brain) and compression of trigeminal nerve by a blood vessel. These are the three things that need to be excluded in a good quality MRI brain.
In addition, for your forgetfulness, we need to exclude vitamin B12 deficiency and thyroid problems. Both can be excluded by blood tests.
An EEG should also be done to exclude minor seizures.

Thanks so much for your response, I will try to figure a way to get my mri records somehow for you if i can. Some additional things that may help you "i hope i am not flooding you with symptoms lol" is i have trouble writing sometimes like a simple task of writing with a pen i can't seem to write correctly, I noticed this years ago when it all started, I had to sign at a desk and i noticed how difficult it was to write.. hard to explain other than i couldn't control my hand smoothly to write if that makes sense.. Also, I heard that sometimes "done a little bit of research to what you've said after i've read" that MS can sometimes not show up on a mri, is this true? Some people have thought that it could be the 2 things you've told me that it most likely was a neuro type disorder.. Thanks ahead of time for the response.

I would be pleased to see your MRI reports.
I agree that MRI may be negative in the initial stage of MS, however, it shows up after a few weeks of symptoms. So, now, if you have MS, it would show up on the MRI.
Writing problem is also related to brain dysfunction, especially if you were anxious at that time.
