Resolved question:
My second toe is swollen from the joint to the tip. This has been happening off and on for the past 6 months (at least). In the beginning, it was mildly painful, but now it really doesn't bother me at all. I don't believe my shoes are to blame as I have switched them up for spring.
On a day to day basis, it has remained slightly swollen, but seems to have flare ups once or twice a week. I have Raynauds so i'm kind of used to my feet changing colors.
Also, I can't tell you the last time I've gotten a pedicure, in part due to this issue. I've soaked it in epson salt from time to time and didn't really notice any change.
Just wondering what could be the cause and if it's something I should get checked out?

Hello,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern
As you are bothered with swelling of your second toe, it can be found with Raynaud's phenomenon.but, you should get it investigated to rule out a rheumatological disorder. Such type of disorder or swelling can be seen in other connective disorders & also with reactive arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, etc. You should consult a rheumatologist.and get investigated.and may need some medicines including diseases modifying drugs, if it comes positive.
Feel free to discuss further
Hope this will help you.
