Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
At 22, never ever having had a period is a serious concern.
YOu should get yourself evaluated at the earliest.
I will outline what needs to be done for you.
First of all, consult a known and senior OB - GYN.
Get an internal evaluation - absent vagina, uterus or cervix can cause this.
Next get an internal pelvic and abdominal ultrasound scan - absent or malfunctioning ovaries can lead to this issue.
Also, hormonal tests - FSH, LH, TSH, Prolactin - hormonal disturbance at the level of the master glands or the ovaries can lead to absent periods.
Lastly, chromosomal analysis - various kinds of genetic syndromes and disorders can cause this.
Please have this comprehensive workup at the earliest, because treatment depends on the cause of absent periods ( amenorrhoea ).
Some causes are treatable, and some are not.
Let me know if you wish for further information.
All the best
Please feel free to discuss further.
