Muscle like pain in finger, knee after tattoo appointment.

Resolved question:
Right after my tattoo appointment today I got this horrible muscle like pain in my pointer finger on my right hand. It lasted about 3 minutes. An hour later I started getting this deep, moderate feeling ache in my left knee. It's Under my knee cap towards the inner part of my leg. Within 20 minutes it was in both legs and now the pain is running down the sides of my right leg and behind it. I've never had knee pain before. It's doesn't get better in any position, or standing or laying down. Could this be related to the tattoo? I wouldn't think so but it happened after it was finished. It's fairly large in size. There is no swelling. This knee pain is horrible. Thanks.

Hello,
No, pains associated with tattooing is more localized and does not radiate like this.
Where exactly did you get the tattoo?
Any history of immunological disorders?
Kindly reply.

It's in my upper right arm. Today my legs are still very achy. From my thighs to my feet. It's a deep ache. The pain isn't in my knees currently just my legs. I have no know immune disorders. Should I be looking into this?

Hello,
This definitely is not related to the tattoo.
You can take a plain anti-inflammatory drug like Paracetamol or Advil and let me know if the pain settles down,

Any ideas in what could cause sudden knee aching in both legs and also in both legs so far for 24 hours straight? If your system is distressed from the tattoo itself would it cause what ever your body was fighting in your knees to protect and not protect it anymore? Like a possible immune system something?

It could be because of a viral infection, but chances of it coming from the tattoo is remote.
We need to wait and observe. If it settles down with painkillers without any sings of infection, then there is nothing to worry about.
Regards.

My thighs are aching badly. The front of my thighs and also the back and sides of my lower legs. The aching first started severely in my knees. I don't understand what would a use this. I haven't done anything strenuous. I've been taking Flonase once a day. My mind needs to be put at rest.

Hello,
Such pain can suddenly arise only because of a viral infection.
But you can still go ahead and get the following tests done which can give us an idea of the possibility of an infection.
- CBC, ESR, CRP
