I am concerned about a mole on my daughters leg. It's rather large in size and I am wondering if I should be worried about this.

Hello,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern. Since how many days your daughter has this mole?
Did it change in color/size/appearance/itching/pain recently?
Can you tell the maximum diameter in mm if possible?
Please revert back to me
Regards
She's always had the mole but it seems like it has gotten larger as she's become older. She hasn't complained of itching or being painful and no bleeding. I would say it's bigger around than a pencil eraser. The color has remained the same. I am mainly concerned about the size of it.
Hello
Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern. I reviewed the pictures.
Its a birthmark which we call nevus. Its benign. Its not cancerous.
I would not recommend any action. It needs to be observed and monitored by your dermatologist every 3 months for any changes.
At times nevi grow in size but that can happen.
Please let me know if you have any queries.
Take care
