Knee popped out of socket on twisting. Treatment.

Resolved question:
I exercise daily (alternating weight lifting and kickboxing every other day) and have never had any knee problems before. 2 days ago, I was sitting down and kinda twisted my leg slightly as I was turning around and the knee popped out of socket. It felt as though the bottom left part of the leg was rotating to the left. I straightened my leg and it popped back into place. The next day, I was squatting to the ground and when I went to stand up, the exact same thing happened again. It doesn't hurt to walk on it, but it has an ache now, like the tendons were slightly strained. No swelling or bruising or anything, just a dull ache. Do I need to rest it and hope that it will heal? Will my knee continue to randomly dislocate?

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
As per your description and the picture,it looks like a Thrombosed haemorrhoid.
At this stage,it will not respond to medical treatment.
I prefer to give an incision and relieve the swelling and pain.
Please follow your doctor's advice and proceed.
You should take high fiber diet, plenty of liquids, eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Your stool should be soft.
Once a swelling of this size is seen,Surgery is the only option.
Wish you good health and speedy recovery.
Regards.
