Resolved question:
I am a 30 year old male from India. I have started experiencing frequent bowel movements with a feeling that bowels are not emptied completely. Stool consistency is soft. Consulted with a doctor 15 days back. He examined me physically and asked me to take more fibers/water. Doing that has mitigated the problem but not completely solved it. I am worried that it might be something serious. There is no blood, pus or mucous in the stool. Please help.

Hi,
Thanks for providing the additional information.
It looks like you have irritable bowel syndrome only .
You doctor was right in asking you to increase the fiber intake.
Drink enough fluids.
Check blood glucose and thyroid function test.
Please get back to me with these reports.
Regards,
Dr.R.K
