Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I am Dr. Jay and I am pleased to assist you.
It does seem like you have a stomach bug leading to acute gastroenteritis.u
Before I give my opinion, how is your bowel movement now? And you had 2 episodes of diarrhea earlier right?
Awaiting your reply,
Regards.
No diharrhea, its been solid. had a couple little ones today but not runny at all.
Hello,
If there is no history of diarrhea then an infection can be ruled out.
However, the most probable diagnosis is gastritis which is causing your constant nausea and vomiting,
I will advise you a course of Tab. Ondansetron 4 mg thrice daily before meals, till the vomiting subsides. Also, you need Cap. Omeprazole 20 mg once daily before breakfast for 7 days.
I will also advise you to get your LFT checked and let me know the results.
Regards.
I have never vommited as of yet just have the feeling. Today was okay but once I got in a vehicle to drive back to the hotel I instantly felt sick like motion sickness. I never had motion sickness ever in my life until today. Not sure if that helps or could account for a flu bug. I hope it goes away as I have a 4 hour flight on friday.
Hello,
The motion sickness can occur more if you are already nauseated.
If you do not have a fever or diarrhea, flu can be ruled out.
Kindly continue with the Ondansetron and Omeprazole and let me know if it's helping.
Regards.
