Excessive hair loss due to reduced VITAMIN-D. Treatment.

Resolved question:
I have one burning health problem, namely excessive hair loss. I am 36 years old. In endocrine examination I discovered the reduced supplies of vitamin D (30), so I was prescribed these vitamins. Obviously, an ingredient I did not stand because it is full of additives including parabens. My symptoms were convulsions in the intestine, swelling, water retention in the body at the same time more urine, fatigue, sweating heavily, very bad immune system which was reflected as chronic colds and loss of hair in bunches, brittle nails brittle and constant hunger. The levels ofeosinophils were increased which have fluctuated between 9-12 in the urine increased bilirubin was 1. When I stopped taking vitamin D in the immune system is immediately returned to normal, fatigue, swelling, sweating was gone, the hair are much better. Eosinophils were elevated after three weeks of stopping taking the supplement and they were even higher. Hunger remained. I am constantly hungry, I constantly eat, but not put on weight and there is still bad hair growth. The whole thing looks just like your body does not use all ingredients in food that I eat. An hour after the meal I am hungry. Sugar levels are normal. We also checked the parasite, which is negative (or false negative). I wonder what caused this famine. Add the vitamin are referred to for the side effects intestinal and gastric disorders, and an ingredient having the effect of estrogen. Thyroid hormones are ok. I know that a hunger its yout a sign that my body does not get ingridiens, but the qeustion is whay if I am eating so much.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at Doctorspring.com
You can try some other brand of Vit D, or some chewable tablets/solutions made from Nanotechnology. That won't cause the side effects you listed.
Also, your symptoms are suggestive of malabsorption syndrome. What is the color of your stool? Has there been any change in the color recently?
I suggest you also consult a gastroenterologist for ruling out Malabsorption, after getting a stool evaluation done.

Feel free to discuss further,
Regards

Hi,
I did not say before I am a woman 36 years old.

Stool color is dark brown , but defecation more often than usual, when I stoped eating milk product the stool become more firmly. But I dont have alergies to milk and eggs, the test have been made for that.Stool has been evaluated and is well digested . Fat , muscle fibers and starches are digested well .But there is bleaching after eating, but not sour . My IgE is 99.7 , but I do not know whether because of pre-existing allergies ( cat fur and dust mites) , or any new ones.
And another question whether it can be to blame adrenal gland . My cortisol 293 nmol / L at 11 30 hours. Is this okay ? I will do the ACTH test . Is it possible that it is not enough stomach acid that its causeing the bleaching. And that constant hunger???

Thank you for answering, and sorry for my language, I am for Europe, Slovenia.

Cortisol should be tested at 8-9Am in the morning. Any ways your symptoms do not seem to be due to adrenal deficiency.
Rest of your symptoms need gastroenterology consultation.
Regards.
