Resolved question:
Hello Doctor,I am a male of 35 years and am sexually active. I never faced any problem with my sexual health. From past 6 months, I am facing a problem of erectile dysfunction. When I discussed this issue with few of my friends, they said that erectile dysfunction is a common thing when a person is aging. Is it so? Or do I have some other health problem due to which erectile dysfunction is coming up as a consequence?

Thank you for your question. Though age can be one of the reasons, but it cannot be said as a single driving factor for erectile dysfunction. As you age just 35, age factor is little non-justifying for the issue. Erectile dysfunction is common in man of all the ages. Considering your sexual health history and the period from which you are facing the problem, the cause can be psychological problems like stress, depression etc. It may also be due to a prolonged illness, administration of certain drugs, diabetes or any vascular problem. You are suggested to make your lifestyle active and be stress free. In case the problem persists, it is advised to consult a doctor.
