Hi, one day my parents caught me kissing my boyfriend. They scolded me badly and told that I might put myself on the risk of ailments like AIDS even by kissing alone. I was thinking I was being safe by not having sex! i was wondering can kissing also make you suffer from such ailments? If yes, how?

Examples of illnesses caused by Viruses that can be transmitted by kissing include colds, glandular fever, hepatitis B, herpes infection and warts. Warts in mouth can be spread through kissing, especially if there are areas of recent trauma. Glandular fever is also known as kissing fever.
