Resolved question:
I am 29 years old. I am having slight mild discomfort in my lower abdomen. My doctor has ordered a urine culture but I haven't went for the test yet. I don't have a lot of pain or discomfort before or during urination, and I don't have any blood in my urine. However, I have resorted to wearing briefs because I don't want to go to the bathroom every time I turn around, I Don't have time for that. I put one on and I can stand and void, sit and void, and bend and void. but I can't void laying down. I have tried a clean catheter and my urine is more clearer that way then when I void in the toilet. I have never had this type of discomfort before. Could this be a UTI or something else. Do you have any other suggestions that I can try to help me with the pain. I will be wearing briefs so I don't have accidents.

Hello. Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
You seem to be having urinary tract infection and you certainly need to take urine c/s and also start yourself on antibiotics under the care of your doctor. You can consider taking ultrasound also to rule out any other pathology.
Till you start yourself on antibiotics you can take plenty of cranberry juice. It shall help to partially control your symptoms.
Feel free to discuss further,
Take care.
