Detection time of HYDROCODONE for PAIN MANAGEMENT.

Resolved question:
Researching hydrocodone detection times. I keep reading that it tends to stay for 1-6 or even 1-7 days. Last time I took a drug test, it had been 3.5 days since I last took hydrocodone (about 82 hrs to be exact) and it still tested positive. This time, it's been 5.75 days or 140 hours roughly - I took my last hydrocodone at 3pm last Tuesday, and I took the drug test the following Monday at 10:30am. Will it STILL show up after even that long? The guides I keep finding online don't help at all - some say 1-2 days, others say 2-4, and yet others say 1-6 and even 1-7.

I believe it was GC/MS, given to me at a pain management clinic. A urine test

I'm a pain management patient, who is prescribed oxycodone. I used to be prescribed hydrocodone by the same pain management clinic. I ended up taking some hydrocodone from a previous prescription, even though I don't think I'm supposed to, so I'm a bit nervous about the test showing both and being grounds for dismissal. Any better idea about whether 4 days or 7 days is more accurate? That's quite a range. Thanks

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
It is dificult to predict about your WBCs without knowing background medical history.
Can you kindly give more details about any possible exposure of HIV in the past? Hiv does destroy the WBCs more, CD4 lymphocytes specifically, but that happens late, when the disease progresses. HIV can be present in an individual for years, before it starts impacting the WBCs. Hence based on your exposure i will be able to guide you further,
Regards.
