Resolved question:
I was prescribed to take Diane 35 by my dermatologist for growing my hair. I am continuously using it for the last 2 months as instructed. Meanwhile, On 4th July I got intimate with my boyfriend. He ejaculated on my hand. about 30 mins later he tried to insert his penis into me, but quickly removed it. It didn't get into me properly. Less than half of the penis head got into me, and he quickly removed it. Only the following morning I missed to take the Diane 35 pills. But I took it within 12 hrs. Since then I am continuing to take those pills as prescribed my my doctor. But, I am worried about my periods. They last came on 14th June. I did a home pregnancy test 7 days after that night, then again 1 day after I missed my period, then again 8 days after I had missed my period. All the 3 tests came negative. Is there still any chance of pregnancy? Please advice. I am really worried about it.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Three things to consider:
1) You were regularly on Diane 35 (OCPs) and you took the missed dose with in 12 hours. That helps in maintaining the blood levels of the OCP.
2) The penis was inserted only half way through and that too half an hour after ejaculation. This minimizes the chances of getting pregnant.
3) You have tested for pregnancy thrice with the last one being 8 days after the day of missed period.
That makes the chances of you being pregnant almost impossible. You need not worry and further and you need not do any further tests.
But try to be more careful in future. Do make your boyfriend use a condom. It helps in saving you from unwanted pregnancy and also from various sexually transmitted diseases.

Thanks for your precious comments doctor. But still why my periods are getting delayed? and I am also feeling little cramps in my lower abdomen. Why is that? Are these any side effect of the pills?
There are plenty of reasons for a delayed period. Stress, anxiety and being sexually active are few of them. You may still wait for 10 more days and if not then an uktrasound of abdomen may be required.

Thanks doctor for your valuable instruction. I have consulted a gynocologist, who pointed out that I needed to take a 7 days gap after every 21 days of continuously taking Diane 35, which I didn't. According to him, this is the reason for my missing period. Can this be the case? I am also suffering from frequent cramps in my lower abdomen. This gynocologist has prescribed me Primolute N for 5 days, 3 tablets daily. Please advice. I am really worried.
