are there chances of getting pregnant of pre-ejaculate?
Hello,
So considering your last cycle started on the 28th and they are regular, you expected date of ovulation falls around 12th october, it can vary 2 days either side.
So practically, even when you had sex on 17th, there was no chance of pregnancy to begin with. Because the ovulation occurs around the 14th day, and the ovum stays viable for fertilisation only for 12 hours, after ovulation. We say avoid unprotected intercourse between 10th-20th day of the cycle to be absolutely safe, and mostly women won't have regular cycles.
You took plan b three days back and there is no need to take it again. Moreover there was no ejaculation inside. So please do not worry. There is no chance of pregnancy.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.
Hello,
There is a very slight risk of getting pregnant from pre ejaculate, however it is more of a theoretical possibility. I am yet to come across a case, who got pregnant because of that.
Just to reassure in your case, i won't worry at all becuase you ovulated long back, and even ejaculation won't cause pregnancy as of now. There can be a slight delay in your cycle becuase of plan B. Kindly don't panic.
Regards.
