Cause for having relatively high PULSE RATE.

Resolved question:
i have relatively high pulse rate ( about 93 bpm ) is it something i should worry about ?

i am 46, in fairly good health, x-smoker, moderately over weight ( 180 cm and 93 kg ), bp ( 125 over 80 ), exercise fairly regularly ( thu i stopped for last 3 months ), under a fair degree of work stress, i take the following medication : low dose of Zoloft, Xanax, Crestor and Otrivin spray and Panadol nite @ night time. also i drink alcohol daily in moderation.

Many people have a relatively high heart rate. In absence of any symptoms apart from anxiety you shouldn't be greatly worried. Stress and anxiety, low hemoglobin, tobacco alcohol in excess and hyperthyroidism are some of the common causes of tachycardia. You should get a hemogram and thyroid profile. You could get a 2d echo and if that is normal you could start beta blockers or ivabradine
