Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
You can drink alcohol provided you're not on any kind of antibiotics. Antibiotics and alcohol may cause severe GI distress. But without alcohol it doesn't really affect lungs in any way.
Also make sure it is limited because it can induce coughing.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

I had a 30mg of prednisolone about 12 hours ago, will it still be okay?

Hello,
Though they have no direct interactions. but taking them together will render you more susceptible to infections, and can flare up the respiratory infection too, since they both suppress the immune system.
Also Prednisolone leads to temporary hyperglycemic state, and taking alcohol will only further prolong it.
I will advise you have limited drinks.not more than 1-2. In that case it should be fine.
Regards.
