Resolved question:
I used to use epiduo and I used it for almost a year. I have no problem with this medication and it cured my acne after the initial breakout. Recently, I stopped using this medication because I want to try retin-a 0.05 for whiteheads but then it broke me out after I used it for 3 days. Now, can I switch it back to epiduo and never use retin-a again ? Are there any medications won't cause initial breakout ?

I can understand your concern.
You can switch back to epiduo now. And it's ok if you don't use Retin A again. The creams that contain retinoids like tretinoin or adapalene tend to cause an initial break out.
It would be best to use clindamycin gel along with it to reduce the breakout.
