Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
Cancers can come back but up to 5 years
It is preferred that you wait until 5 years to involve in marital life as it would be safe and sound.
Regarding fertility issues, there is absolutely no fear as one testis can produce enough sperms for child birth. But it would be safe to discuss these issues before marriage with the partner to avoid Marital related issues.
Feel free to discuss further,
Kind regards
Dear Sir,
Thanks for your kind help and sugesstion
But i have some question....
As i told earlier i was operated for RPLND, i want to know whether chemotherapy / radiation therapy is necessary in my treatment. As last 3 yrs CT scan are normal my doctor says i am ok. Can you please suggest me that should i go for some other test or treatments or i have to just follow my doctors instruction. (please see my reports uploaded earlier)
Sir, after 5 years which test i have to do for confirming that i am safe. I heard that one of my relatives mother had breast cancer at age 40, see get treatment and she is ok for next 15 yrs but after that again she get breast cancer and she died. Now the doubt is that if cancer come back in 5 years then how in her case it come back after 15 yrs.please clarify my doubt.
Sir, after removal of 11 lymph nodes from my body will it effect my immune system?. what care i have to take or what should i do for making immune system strong.
What will be your suugesstion for my parents that they will not force me for marraige for next 2 years, i also don't want to distroy my partners life.
Sir, i accepted that i had a cancer in my past, but why it occurs to me. I want to tell u that my uncle (my fathers elder brother) was died due to blood cancer (Leukemia) 12 yrs ago. So, is it family problem or something else.
Please Guide me.
Chemotherapy was necessary in your case.
The probability of recurrence in nonseminoma is less after 5 years. Hence the cut off of 5 years. However, I am not completely ruling out recurrence after 5 years. So please be on the side of caution.
You need to discuss the pros and CONS before you involve in marital life.
Best regards
