Resolved question:
Due to problems in my life I abstained from all sexual activity (including masturbation) for several months. Now my semen has become yellow. It has been yellow for about five months now. It is worrying me.

Thank you for choosing Doctor Spring. Yellowish semen could be due to prostate inflammation/epididymitis/urethritis/ lack of ejaculation for longer periods etc.
Semen can change in color even with age or due left over urine in the urethra. Semen normally is whitish gray in color, some time jelly like globules might also be present and is normal.Slightly yellowish tint of semen is also normal.
Normal volume of semen is around 2-5ml.
Are you on any drugs for psychiatric care? Do you have any symptoms of infection in the urogenital tract like burning urination/ frequency and urgency to urinate/ blood in semen or urine?
If the semen volume, sperm count and motility are fine, there is nothing to worry. Also, if you do not experience any other symptoms than yellowish semen, tehre is absolutely nothing to worry.
